The first race in the 2023 Grand Prix was the Carlisle Resolution 10K on January 22nd. This will be followed by the Netherhall 10 mile at Maryport on February 26th. A full list of events will be posted when the dates are confirmed.

The usual rules apply - your best five results are the ones that count, and you must wear club colours to receive points.

Don't worry if the first couple of events don't suit you, as there will be plenty of opportunities to race over varying distances throughout the year. The link to the first race entry is here.

Free 10-week Jog Scotland course

Looking to Kick start your Fitness Goals for 2023? Need some inspiration towards getting fit?

Then come join us at Dumfries Sports Club where a New FREE 10 Week Jog Scotland course, delivered by members of Dumfries Running Club, will commence on Monday 9th January 2023.

​

Registration is from 6.00 pm at Dumfries Sports Club, 50 Nunholm Road Dumfries DG1 1JW; the actual session starts at 6.30pm. For many who have started previously but have not continued this is an ideal opportunity to start again. For those who have continued running, please spread the word to any of your family, friends or colleagues who you think would be interested in joining us on a Monday night. This is a perfect opportunity to get fit and healthy for 2023. NO running/jogging experience is necessary as the course is designed for those who have never run previously.

Participants need to register with jogscotland, which gives access to the benefits they provide. Registration is free and is done online at www.jogscotland.org.uk;. If possible this should be done before the first session with confirmation of registration either on your mobile/tablet or on a paper copy brought along for checking.
