The Club spreads training over 3 nights a week. Mondays are aimed at beginners/slightly slower runners, with various distances and speeds of run available. Tuesdays are suitable for all, as there are also different distances and speeds on offer, with the main emphasis being on steady running. There is also a development group to help people make the transition from Monday nights to the main club nights. Thursdays consist of more focussed training, with a 5K handicap race organised every month for any club member who wishes to compete. On other weeks, Thursdays usually have 2 sessions on offer - one on the track for those wishing to progress their running by working on specific intervals and an alternative "speedplay" session for those looking for a more informal session. 5K Handicap Series
The 1st of the 5K Handicap Series will take place this evening. Meeting at Nunholm from 18.15 so as to start as close to 18.30 as possible.
