Just a quick reminder that Sunday February 26th is the first race of the 2012 Grand Prix season. The Netherhall 10 mile race starts (at 11am) and finishes near Maryport, where there are showers and a post-race buffet. A bus has been booked and will leave Nunholm at 8am and return at about 4pm. The bus is now full - please see forum for more details. The committee would like to remind all runners that in order to obtain GP points for this race, a club vest must be worn - kit can be ordered by contacting: kit@dumfriesrunningclub.org.uk
On Sunday February 12th, Susan Gallagher raced the Meon Valley Plod in Hampshire. The 21 (or so) mile race, organised by the Portsmouth Joggers takes competitors up and down the hills of the South Downs. Susan survived to report on the race.....
On Sunday 12 th February Ian Brown and Les Hill ran the 34K (21 miles) Buttermere Round that starts and finishes in Keswick....
