Great Day Out for DRC at Brampton-Carlisle
The weather was great again for this year's final GP race - the 60th running of the 10 mile Brampton-Carlisle race. 26 DRC members finished the race with others supporting along the route as many new PBs were run throughout the field.
The race was won by Yared Hagos of Wallsend Harriers in an amazing 47:51, with Steven Smith first home for DRC in 57:57. The ladies race was won by Danielle Hodgkinson, also of Wallsend Harriers, paced to a time of 58:33, with Sian Finlay first for DRC in 69:04.
