Susan claims bronze!

Susan Gallagher travelled to represent DRC in the Lancaster Half marathon on 6th November along with 705 other runners from around the North West.
Conditions were good and despite a very congested start on the narrow cycle path Susan managed a steady pace, continuing her good form from her recent marathon training. Pace dropped during miles 8 -10 as the course snaked its way round the undulating country lanes on the edge of the city but Susan worked hard to regain the pace required to speed up in the last 3 miles to finish in 99.50, which gives her a 3rd qualifier for her bronze road running standard. A new personal best time of over 3 minutes and the position of 2nd F35 and 19th overall out of 224 females.
