FAVOURITE THING ABOUT DUMFRIES RUNNING CLUB?   Fun, friendship, support, competition with club mates – you only get out what you put in.

POSITIVE EXPERIENCES WITH DUMFRIES RUNNING CLUB?  Helping others – seeing progress made on Monday evenings.  Support at races.  Club away days.

HOW DO YOU FEEL YOU HAVE IMPROVED?   If anything I have got worse over the past 5 years but I can live with it.

FAVOURITE PLACE TO RUN?   Mabie Forest .  Dentdale run.

FAVOURITE TYPE OF RUNNING/DISTANCE?  Half Marathon and over.  Not 10K – I have no speed.

WEEKLY MILEAGE?  25-30 miles

MOST SATISFYING RUN/PERFORMANCE?   Tom Scott 10 miles 1991 – 59.07mins.  London 1991 3 hours 2mins – a PB by 14 minutes.  Dumfries Marathon – faster in 2006 than in 1986 (my first ever).
