Return to Club training after COVID restrictions

It is with great pleasure that we can announce Club training will commence from Tuesday 18th May.
 
Please read the following details about the return to training. 
 
 

General
The maximum group size is 30 for a training session. To comply with coaching ratio requirements each group will have no more than 12 runners with an appointed Session Helper.
 
The guidance suspends the need for physical distancing during a training session but the Club encourages members to stick to social distancing rules before, during, and after a session.
 
We need to register attendees in case there is a need for test and trace. This information will be taken at the training session so there's no need to book online. 
 
Training Sessions
Monday will have sessions for 2, 3, and 6 miles. Meet 6.30pm at the Crichton at Easterbrook car park. Maggie/Sandy will arrange on the night.
 
Tuesday sessions will have groups for 3, 6 and 9 miles. Meet 6.30pm at the Crichton at Easterbrook car park. Maggie/Sandy will arrange on the night.
 
Thursday Speedplay sessions will vary the distance each week. 6.30 at the Crichton, meet at Easterbrook car park. Robert/Sandy will arrange on the night.
 
Thursday Track sessions commence 6.30pm at the David Keswick Centre, meet in the reception area. Maggie/Mike will arrange on the night.
 
Further training sessions will be arranged once the above are bedded in.
 
General
Attendees at training sessions should familiarise themselves with the Running Safety document and the recently revised risk assessment. Key points are the need for each running group to appoint a Session Helper and for a mobile phone to be carried by at least one participant.
